Banana Pudding

3 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons flour
3 cups milk
1 tablespoon vanilla
Bananas 
Nilla Wafers

To make custard (I always double this recipe):

Whisk eggs, sugar, flour and milk in a large sauce pan. 
Cook and stir constantly over medium/low heat (this takes patience) until the mixture thickens enough to coat a clean spoon.  
Remove from heat and continue to stir for a few minutes as it cools slightly.  
Add vanilla.

To make the banana pudding:

In a large bowl layer the Nilla wafers, sliced bananas then cover with custard.  Continue these layers until the bowl is full ending with Nilla wafers on top this usually makes two to three layers depending on the size of the bowl.

Cover and refrigerate until cold (Dad like it best after it sits in the fridge over night).
