Ingredients:
2 cups crushed strawberries (about 1 quart or 1.5 lbs)
4 cups sugar
3/4 cup water
1 package Sure-Jell original fruit pectin
Instructions:
1: Rinse containers and lids, Dry thoroughly, and set aside.
2. Wash strawberries, remove stems, and crush, measure 2 cups.
3. Stir the sugar and strawberries together. Let stand for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Mix water and Sure-Jell in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil for 1 minute.
5. Add the water mixture to the berries and stir for 3 minutes or until the sugar is dissolved.
6. Fill containers to within 1/2 inch of the tops. Let it sit at room temperature for 24 hours. Store in fridge or freezer.
