Ingredients:
1 1/2 c Flour
1 1/2 c old fashioned rolled oats
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
10 TBSP butter
1/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 egg + 1 egg yolk
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
In a small sauce pan melt butter it will foam and the turn brown take off heat immediately so it doesn’t burn.
Pour the butter into a mixing bowl to cool.
In another mixing bowl combine the flour, oats, baking soda, and salt.
Add the sugars, vanilla, and eggs to the melted butter and mix.
And the dry ingredients to the wet and mix until 75% mixed then add the chocolate chips until fully mixed.
Refrigerate for at least n hour
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Roll the dough into golf ball sized balls and put on a lined sheet
Bake 9-11 minutes. Top with flakey salt if desired.
