Taco Soup


Meat (1/2 lb of ground beef, or turkey or drained canned chicken)
1 package taco seasoning
1 can of kidney beans with juice
1 can of Italian style tomatoes (you can blend these in the magic bullet if you don't want chunks)
1 can of corn with juice
1 can of tomato sauce
*feel free to add anything else you think would be good.  I often will add another can of Italian style tomatoes and beans to make the recipe bigger.
Topping of choice (corn bread, tortilla chips or  Fritos, cheese, sour cream, avocado)

Brown the meat in a frying pan and drain the fat.
Add the taco seasoning to the meat.
Pour the cans into a large pot and add the seasoned meat.
Cook on the stove until heated through.  You can make this ahead of time and reheat easily or you can  make this in a crock pot or instapot.
